To
play an important role as a voice for women in Montreal and
its surrounding areas through a forum of member organizations
(Federated Societies) and
individual members.
We
achieve
the MCW objectives by recommending policies and services
to the municipality that will have a major
impact on the citizens of Montreal.

Current Objectives
Women: To interest
women in local, regional, provincial and national affairs.
Community:
To represent
MCW views at the highest level possible.
Environment:
Water/Energy
Connections project 2008-2010: exploring the multitude
connections in areas such as
the overall energy/water/climate nexus, the Tar Sands, and Nuclear
Power.
Children:
To
increase the awareness of community daycares to the needs of
children with disabilities and to
increase the accessibility of pediatric therapeutic services for special needs children.
Seniors:
To work on the issues affecting the senior population.
